Similar to the brass and copper mouth swelham but wrapped in leather and with a port. While the shanks are the same between the two bits the leather adds a softer feel for the horse and the port adds room for the tongue as the shank rotates. A great choice for a horse who can get sensitive to metal bits. Your top rein acts as a Pelham and your second rein acts as a swale.
